THE dog’s desire to destroy is instinctive. High prey drive. Natural reflex. Boredom, as well. Arrow is a hound dog, born to hunt. She gets bored and used to eat furniture in the house. So when Elle Cyd was still here, she taught Arrow to dissect a stuffed toy like a surgeon schooled at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. A trick to stop Arrow from her chair-eating shenanigan. It worked. Now Arrow is a bonafide surgeon, with a huge collection of stuffed toys without eyes and entrails. 🐕🧸🐕

THUMB, verb, to scan (written matter) by turning over pages with or as if with the thumb. Or to disarrange, soil, or wear by careless or frequent handling. Or to solicit (a ride) from a passing vehicle by signaling with the thumb. So what if you don’t have a thumb? I don’t know. I gotta keep on googling, anyhow. 👍🖕👎

WHY do flocks of birds fly in alignment or V-formation? Google: The leading bird works the hardest. Duty of that boss bird to reduce air resistance so that the other birds can have an easier time flying. Google adds: Murmuration is a visual invitation to attract birds, as many as 750,000 birds, to join a group flight. Murmuration, get that? But Google hasn’t really answered my question. I gotta ask Fizz The Wiz. She always gives me the correct answer. She watches bird videos 24/7. 🐦🦅🦜

CATS are territorial animals. They fight to defend their territory. No sane animal should encroach on cat land. Elle Cyd was an inside/outside cat. She almost never had a fight. There was one only incident when she had a skirmish with a neighbor’s cat. But as soon as Georgia heard it, dog sis ran to defend Cyd. Nemesis ran away. Ching and Fizz are indoor cats. No problemo, whatsoever. The sun room is their favorite and my room, with Arrow, they already sequestered it as their own. 😼🙀😾

THE restaurant host or hostess makes sure that their guests feel welcomed, cared for, and valued. They create a warm and welcoming environment for patrons from the moment they enter the establishment. Hosts or Hostesses typically provide menus, take names for reservations and answer the phone. They aren't supposed to ask guests about their political party, you know. Even with a nice smile. ☺️🙃😊

CATS enjoy watching television so much that many content creators make videos (and even games!) especially for felines. If you're looking for cat-friendly content, YouTube has a treasure trove of content felines will love. Yup, I did that. Fizz and Ching have two laptops/screens on their bed space. Ching watches more than Fizz. Fizz: “It gets boring, you know. There’s no story structure, no plotlines. I’d rather read Pasckie’s books in Arrow’s bedroom.” 🐈📺🐈‍⬛

BELIEVE it or not, with a lot of time and practice, you can actually train your dog to read, says experts (who are mostly cats). But you better hold off before buying a copy of "Call of the Wild" or "Balto.” There is a difference between learning to recognize words and being able to comprehend text. There's more to learn about your dog's ability to read. Okay? But don’t lose sleep over this. For the meantime, take it easy. Live your life, eat and chill. 🐕📚🐕‍🦺

ORIGINALLY in Italy, pizza was sold as smaller whole pies. It's hard to say who had the genius idea of cutting it into slices. One story explains how pizza sellers in New York would walk up and down the street and order just a slice. Then pizza restaurants got greedy. They forced people to buy all 12 slices in one box. I reckon? Some even ask, “Want fries with those?” 🍕🍕🍕

COMMUNICATION is common between animals of a single species, but it can also happen between two animals of different species. Animals communicate using signals, which can include visual, auditory, or sound-based; chemical, involving pheromones; or tactile, touch-based, cues. Or recently they use iPhone to communicate via zoom, IMs or texts. Cats taught many animals how to adapt to changing times. And how to prepare as well for the coming AI apocalypse. 🐗🐼🐱

WHY are cats so cool? Cats offer companionship, unconditional love, entertainment, affection, lots of purring, comfortable silences and they're trainable! I mean, you are trainable to them. They like training hoomans how to be sophisticated, smart, and of course, cool. Among other shinobi ninja thingies such as Zen-like calm, weapon-savvy, stealth and camouflage, unorthodoxy, agility, mindfulness, and preparedness for the AI apocalypse. 😺😸😼
